Our team was entrusted with the opportunity to build a website for Bali’s first major bamboo construction company. Bamboo Pure, under the leadership of the Hardy family, is renowned for pioneering an innovative, sustainable method of building with bamboo.
We started the project with a deep dive into the ethos and aesthetics of Bamboo Pure. We studied the unique characteristics of bamboo, and the elegance of the company’s remarkable construction projects. Drawing inspiration from the vivid natural green of bamboo forests and the lustrous gold of bamboo stalks, we developed a color scheme that truly reflected the essence of the company. These colors, mingling with a clean and minimalist design, defined a visual language for the website that was organic yet sophisticated.
We incorporated an array of innovative design elements into the website. We developed a highly visual ‘mega menu’ to streamline navigation, aiding users in easily finding their way through the various sections of the site. The menu allowed visitors to get a glimpse of the wide range of projects Bamboo Pure has undertaken, showcasing the breadth and depth of the company’s capabilities.
In keeping with the very visual focus of the project, we added a hand-drawn bamboo illustration to give a warm and personal touch to the website. This illustration not only underscored the company’s specialization in bamboo construction but also lent an artistic dimension to the user experience. The introduction of smooth scrolling further contributed to a seamless and enjoyable browsing experience.
The result was an engaging and dynamic website that tells the Bamboo Pure story beautifully. The site is a testament to Bamboo Pure’s pioneering spirit and dedication to sustainability.
